developing in every American city and state

When most people think of Holistic, Alternative, Integrative, or Complementary) Health, they think of Herbs, maybe Massage, and possibly Chiropractors.  The field of Integrative Medicine includes many modalities and many products. 

Almost every large city and many states have Networks of Integrative, Complementary, Alternative practitioners, doctors and supporters who join a network to promote their goals including integration of complementary, alternative, and conventional medicine at both the community and the institutional levels, support of favorable legislation, and public education and awareness.

On February 16, 2005 at the Tennessee Legislature, I personally met members of Tennesseans for Health Care Freedom, Tennesseans for Safer Vaccines, a group getting sponsors for a bill to allow naturopaths to legally practice in TN, a paid lobbyist working for TN acupuncturists, and Bob (who introduced me to XanGo - taking bottles to several of his legsiator friends). 

Many of the networks focus on either education or research. Others work to protect our political rights!  We're growing and need to develop the networks and friendships to educate others while protecting our rights and all Americans on a political level in every state and country!!

CAM - Complementary Alternative Medicine - many complementary/alternative practitioners, doctors and supporters join state CAM networks including one in GA. These networks actively work to promote their goals including support of favorable state legislation and public education / awareness.

Tennesseans for Safer Vaccines - group of concerned citizens who have legislation sponsored in TN Legislature 2005 to ban mercury from vaccines. Future goals include possibly asking for a ban on aluminum, or formaldahyde, or MSG, or Latex from our vaccines. We may also seek national legislation requiring follow-up studies between vaccinated and unvaccinated to see what long-term effects vaccines are having (FDA only requires short-term studies that last from 1 day to a maximum of several weeks for adverse reactions to ingredients that are sometimes toxic in cumulative doses).  http://TN4SaferVaccines.tripod.com

Tennesseans for Health Care Freedom - most states are developing Health Care Freedom networks to pursue stronger state legislation protecting alternative practitioners and protecting citizen rights to freedom of supplements.
