Let There Be Light by Darius Dinshah This book not only tells of
Dins hah's
46-year struggle to enlighten the healing profession regarding his Spectro-Chrome System of therapy, but also gives all the information necessary to test for yourself. Using his system is surprisingly simple. All that is required is an incandescent lamp, and a set of color filters. That Spectro-Chrome is effective was proven through years of use for a wide range of illnesses by the Senior Surgeon in a major Philadelphia hospital, and hundreds of other physicians as well. $18. plus shipping | |||||||||||
| Spectro-Chrome Metry Encyclopedia In 1920, Dinshah introduced his system of color healing in New York and conducted training courses and certified over 800 medical professionals and lay persons. In 1924, the American Medical Association launched a no-holds-barred debunking and smear campaign against Dinshah which led to a lengthy trial that Dinshah initailly won (representing himself), but the writing was on the wall. The AMA was determined to ruin him and they exerted swift pressure on any physician who attempted to endorse or use Spectro-Chrome. It didn't take long before Dinshah began losing his professional students. In order to preserve his teachings and attract more lay students, Dinshah assembled this complete self study home course in Spectro-Chrome theory and technique and aptly titled it Spectro-Chrome Metry. The first edition was published in 1933 and subsequent editions updated in 1939, 1992, and the 4th Edition offered here in 1997. $22 plus shipping | |||||||||||
| Spectro-Chrome Magazines (Abridged Edition) (Taken from the Introduction by Darius Dinshah) "From 1922 through 1947, Dinshah edited the Spectro-Chrome monthly magazine. Complete seven-volume sets (240 issues, History of Spectro-Chrome) were made by photocopying in 1990 by the Dinshah Health Society. Those seven volumes spanned considerably more than 6,000 pages, which made the set very informative, but expensive-and more than many readers could digest. In this abridged version, the earlier years are considerably emphasized because there was a greater diversity of views and reports from professionals compared to the later years. The 496 pages in this book are numbered with those of the 41 original issues. They have been edited: most blank pages/cartoons/political pages/copyrights/etc. were deleted so page numbers are either on the outer or inner margin; page size was reduced about 2%". $28 plus shipping | |||||||||||
| Spectro-Chrome Guide by Darius Dinshah This 104 page hardback is the abridged, condensed version of Let There be Light. Darius wanted to make this therapy available for those who didn't want to take the time to digest all of the material presented in Let There Be Light. This condensed version retains all of the material necessary for the practical application of Spectro-Chrome therapy, including the important clinical observations and testimony of Dr. Kate Baldwin, Senior Surgeon at Women's Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. $14 plus shipping | |||||||||||
| Dr. Babbitt's Color Therapy by Edwin D. Babbitt M.D. This 7 x 10 softcover contains two of the most important chapters from Dr. Babbitt's 1878 classic tome Principles of Light and Color relating color and its effects on health for both humans and plants.
